The Anglican Church of Kenya, Diocese of Marsabit, marked a historic moment during its 14th Anniversary celebrations with the ordination of four new deacons—a powerful testament to God’s faithfulness in raising laborers for His harvest.
The colorful, joy-filled ceremony was attended by Christians from across the diocese, who gathered to witness and celebrate this sacred milestone. Bishop Qampicha, leading the diocesan leadership, clergy, and laity, officiated the service, charging the ordinands to serve with humility, courage, and unwavering devotion to Christ.
The newly ordained deacons are:
Rev. Stephen Tari
Rev. Sabdio Galgalo
Rev. Jala Molu
Rev. Wako Gamada
These faithful men and Woman have answered God’s call to serve in Marsabit, a region where the Gospel’s light continues to shine despite challenges.
Their ordination is not just a personal milestone but a divine investment in the future of the Diocese—a sign of growth, answered prayers, and renewed hope.
As we rejoice in this moment, let us uphold Rev. Tari, Rev. Galgalo, Rev. Molu, and Rev. Gamada in prayer, asking God to strengthen them as they take up their sacred duties. May their ministry bear lasting fruit for the Kingdom!
“To You alone, O Lord, be all the glory and honour!”
