ACK St. Peter’s Cathedral, Marsabit, is the spiritual heart of our Diocese, offering a vibrant place of worship and leadership for our community. Established in 2013, the Cathedral has played a vital role in the spiritual growth and development of our region. The Cathedral is currently led by Provost Kennedy Akhongo, alongside clergy Rev. John Jalla and David Mulato, and supported by a dedicated team of Lay Readers: Ronald Ngala, Naomi Wako, Lucy Ake, Joseph Humbe, Christine Joshua, and Mary Saido.
The Cathedral Council of Leaders, comprising both laity and clergy, oversees the church’s operations and is assisted by various boards such as Mission and Evangelism, Education, Finance, and Development, ensuring the church remains a beacon of faith and service.
The Cathedral was consecrated in 2013, with Ven. Mark Kargi Denge serving as its first Provost. Since then, St. Peter’s has grown into a thriving congregation deeply committed to its mission.
