DIOCESAN DEVELOPMENT AND DONOR LIASON DEPARTMENT
Led by veteran diocesan officer Rev. Canon Jeremiah Omar, the Development and Donor Liaison Office plays a vital role in securing funding for diocesan projects and strengthening partnerships with donors. The office identifies development opportunities, prepares grant proposals, and ensures effective utilization of donor funds. It works closely with various diocesan departments to implement community development projects, disaster relief efforts, and educational initiatives. This office is instrumental in ensuring sustainable growth and support for diocesan programs that uplift communities.
OUR PROJECTS
Led by long-serving Canon Jeremiah Omar, the Diocesan Department of Development plays a pivotal role in fostering growth and sustainability across the Diocese. The department is responsible for managing relationships with donors and development partners, ensuring successful fundraising efforts for key projects, such as the construction of ACK St. Andrew’s Boys Badassa, Elazar Girls High School, and the current ACK Sololo Girls High School.
In addition to school building projects, the department actively seeks funds for disaster relief—providing food and water during droughts and floods—and champions sustainable initiatives that empower parishes to become self-reliant, reducing dependency. It is also involved in supporting scholarships for bright and needy students, ensuring educational access for all.
Through its various initiatives, the department aims to enhance the Diocese’s development, focusing on long-term growth and resilience in both spiritual and practical realms

Galatians 5:22-23 – "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."
