Diocesan Children Ministry

The Children Ministry Department is a vital arm of the Diocese, dedicated to nurturing the faith of the youngest members of our church. With a focus on Sunday School, Brigade Clubs, Transition Training Schools, and Holiday Programs, the department ensures that children are grounded in Christian values from an early age, preparing them to grow into strong, faithful members of the church community.

Led by the capable Mrs. Lilian Lule, the department works closely with clergy and Sunday School teachers in every parish to oversee the spiritual and personal development of children. Recognizing that this is the “young church of the future,” the ministry provides engaging lessons, fun activities, and practical teachings tailored to the needs of pre-teens.

Key programs include:

  • Sunday School: Weekly classes that teach children foundational biblical stories and values.
  • Brigade Club: Structured programs that teach discipline, leadership, and Christian living through team activities.
  • Transition Training School: Special sessions aimed at helping pre-teens transition smoothly into adolescence while staying rooted in their faith.
  • Holiday Training Programs: Interactive workshops and retreats during school breaks, offering spiritual enrichment and practical skills.

The Children Ministry Department is dedicated to ensuring that every child feels valued, loved, and equipped to thrive both spiritually and socially. Together, we are building the church of tomorrow, one child at a time.

Brigade

The Brigade Club equips children with discipline, leadership, and teamwork skills while reinforcing Christian principles. Through structured activities, the program nurtures a spirit of service and responsibility.

Sunday School

Sunday School provides an engaging environment where children learn the Word of God through Bible stories, songs, and interactive lessons. It lays the groundwork for a strong Christian foundation that shapes their faith journey.

Transition Ministry

This program is designed for pre-teens to help them navigate the transition from childhood to adolescence. It emphasizes spiritual resilience, personal growth, and practical life skills, ensuring a smooth transition into young adulthood.
