Keep your target audience in mind, and keep it simple.
Mission Month & Leadership
The Diocese of Marsabit has a deep-rooted commitment to mission and evangelism, led by experienced and dedicated leaders. Canon Norman Bruce Gorrie, a long-serving Mission and Evangelism Director, played a pivotal role in shaping the Diocese’s outreach efforts. Today, Rev. Jomo Nderitu continues this legacy as the Acting Diocesan Mission and Evangelism Director, guiding the Diocese’s ongoing evangelistic activities.
Every August, the Diocese observes Diocesan Mission Month, a significant time when the mission and evangelism team from across the Diocese come together to focus on a chosen area, dedicating several weeks to mission and outreach. This collective effort strengthens the faith of the local community and spreads the message of Christ to new areas. However, the Diocese’s mission and evangelism efforts are not confined to August alone. Throughout the year, various departments and parishes are actively engaged in evangelism, continually working to bring the Gospel to every corner of the Diocese.
