Office of the Bishop The Diocese of Marsabit is led by Bishop Qampicha Daniel Wario, whose office provides spiritual oversight, strategic leadership, and governance for the Diocese. Administrative Secretary’s Office Headed by Ven. Canon Mark Kargi Denge, the Administrative Secretary’s Office is responsible for the day-to-day administration and operational efficiency of the Diocese. This office plays a critical role in coordinating diocesan activities, managing communication between departments, and ensuring compliance with church policies and governance structures. It oversees diocesan records, correspondence, and logistical planning for major events such as synods, clergy meetings, and training programs. Additionally, the office supports the Bishop in executing strategic plans and maintaining strong institutional management to enhance the effectiveness of the Diocese’s mission.
DIOCESAN COMMUNICATION DEPARTMENT
Under the leadership of Mr. Daniel Huka, the Communication and Public Relations Department serves as the voice of the Diocese. It manages internal and external communications, ensuring transparency and engagement with the faithful, partners, and the public. The department oversees media relations, digital communication, and publication of diocesan news. It also plays a crucial role in promoting diocesan initiatives and fostering a positive public image.
ACCOUNTS OFFICE
Diocesan Accounts Office Headed by long-serving Diocesan Accounts Officer Mr. Nathan Kiboko Ndegwa, this crucial office plays a vital role in the financial administration and resource management of the Diocese. The office is responsible for budget planning, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively to support diocesan activities and projects. It also oversees resource mobilization, working closely with partners and stakeholders to secure funding for diocesan initiatives. DIOCESAN CHANCELLOR
The Diocesan Chancellor’s Office, led by Advocate John Behailu, handles all legal matters concerning the Diocese. It provides legal guidance on diocesan policies, land ownership, governance, and dispute resolution. The office ensures that the Diocese operates within legal frameworks and safeguards its interests in contractual and property-related matters.
