our Diocese celebrated a significant milestone with the successful launch of Phase II of the Dairy Goats Project. This transformative initiative is empowering our local church leaders—including pastors, evangelists, and BMBS—by providing them with high-yield dairy goats.
These special goats are a sustainable source of nutrition and income, capable of producing up to 3 liters of milk per day to support their families.
A Cycle of Generosity: Ensuring Long-Term Impact
To ensure the project’s lasting impact, we’ve built a powerful model of paying it forward. Each beneficiary pledges to pass on the first female offspring of their goat to another family in need. This creates a beautiful, self-perpetuating cycle of generosity that will continue to grow our community’s resilience and prosperity.
Gratitude for Our Partners
The launch event was honored by the presence of Bishop Qampicha D. Wario, Adminstrative Secretary Canon. Mark Kargi, Area Archdeacon Joseph Kesho, St. Peters Cathedral Provost Kennedy Akhongo, Clergy, Beneficiary. The Handover was done by the Generate Project Director Mr. Samwel Galgalo. We extend our deepest and most sincere thanks to Anglican Aid Australia for their generous and faithful partnership. Your support is making this life-changing work possible.
