From 20th to 23rd August 2025, the ACK Isiolo Parish hosted a memorable Sunday School Conference at ACK St. Barnabas Church. Bringing together over 200 children aged 4–14 years, the event was organized by four churches—Game, St. Barnabas, Burka, and Epiding’—under the theme: “The Greatest Commandment” (Mark 12:30).
This four-day gathering became a vibrant space for children to learn God’s Word, worship together, and build Christian values that will shape their lives for years to come.
Purpose of the Sunday School Conference
The main goal of the conference was to nurture children spiritually and socially. Specifically, it aimed to:
Deepen the children’s understanding of the Bible, especially the call to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.
Provide opportunities for Christian fellowship and fun in a safe and nurturing environment.
Encourage teamwork, interaction, and friendship across different churches in Isiolo Parish.
Key Highlights and Activities
To ensure effective learning, children were grouped by age and guided by Sunday School teachers and volunteers. Activities included:
Bible Teaching & Group Discussions – Daily lessons based on The Greatest Commandment, followed by small group reflections.
Praise & Worship – Lively singing and joyful praise sessions that allowed children to freely express their faith.
